Lainey Silver

So Lainey and I agreed to meet and shoot, by South Street Seaport. I don’t know why, but for some crazy reason I thought a t-shirt and hoodie would be appropriate clothing for a rainy and gloomy day. Ummm it wasn’t.  Lainey texted she was running a little late so I walked over to Lot Less and bought me a fleece to put under my hoodie. It was the best eight bucks I spent.  As always Lainey show’s up with a smile and ready to go.

@Lainey upon arrival, always ready.

We wandered around and shot two totally different vintage outfits.  This one with brown pants made by Allureoriginalstyles Esty store, and vintage 1940’s red jacket and and scarf  all topped of by fedora by  Goorin Brothers fb page, and site here.  The other outfit was a dress with plaid short plaid jacket. Which I’ll share in part two post of this session.

Lainey @ South Street Seaport

In the mean time go checkout her site, “she is a globetrotting jazz era dancer, performer, choreographer, DJ, and vintage fashionista.  She specializes in dances of the Jazz Era including lindy hop, charleston, balboa, shag, drag blues, slow dance, and vernacular solo jazz.”  She is always a pleasure to work with, and her style is just cool and very fitting of her.

If you’d like to set up your own photo session send me a message so we can arrange you session.

  1. My grandfather, an Irishman, use to say “it’s
    The peg it’s on” when referring to women wearing outfits. The clothes and your photo shoots are amazing but the glamor and the joie
    de vivre comes from within. Rain does not
    affect Lainey- always sunny inside. 🌨🌨🌨
